Come Dance & Twirl With The Birthday Girl!

Macy celebrated her 5th birthday on Saturday with all her best little friends! All the girls arrived wearing their tutus and ready to dance. It was the cutest thing ever to see the little ballerinas all dressed up and dancing, dining, and having so much fun together. Macy has been so excited for this party and talking about it for months! She came down earlier than she's ever woken up on a Saturday and got her baby doll Hannah dressed in her ballet best (that my Mom made her for her birthday). When her friends arrived they all got their nails painted, faces dusted with sparkling shimmer, and lips shined with gloss. They danced to ballet music, played "The Slipper Game" (a made up version of musical chairs), dined on tea sanwhiches, parfaits, and sparkling juice! It was a great party....and best of all was to see how much Macy enjoyed herself and her friends!

A week of parties!!!

I can hardly believe that for a week there I had a 2, 3, & 4 year old! In the span of a week we celebrated Cooper's 2nd birthday and Macy's 5th! Cooper had a puppy dog party last Saturday that was so much fun. The kids chowed down on a dog bone shaped cake in their dog bowls, took dog commands from Mike (better than our own dog does), and took home doggy bags of bone shaped cookies! The kids and adults had a blast! Macy turned 5 on Thursday with a celebration that included a big blunder on my part (her 5 year old check up with SHOTS!) Oops! We did make up for it by meeting Mike for lunch and having a dinner of her choice (steak & rolls :) that night. She is having 5 of her friends over this Saturday for a much anticipated ballet party....so stay tuned for pictures on that one!

The best part of the past week was my sister Hillary visiting! She was here for Coop's party, a day at the spa, a night at my favorite wine bar and lots of chatter and catching up at home. The girls LOVED their Aunt Hill beyond words and had so much fun playing barbies and best of all "beauty salon" with her. She was such a great sport and even took over for us on books & bath. She made the girls some adorable beaded wine glasses that they couldn't wait to bust out each night for happy hour (they were filled with sparkling apple juice so don't let the pictures fool you)!
