We're all better.....

.....after being home sick this week. The girls missed school on Monday and we had a slow week recovering, but we're all well and ready for another week ahead! Hard to believe we're narrowing in on a month left....but we're all anxious and happy to hear that Mike's boat is heading in the right direction. They should hit Perth, Australia for a brief stop in a couple of days and then onto Sydney for a few more days, then Hawaii, then Home!!!

This is a shot of the kids taking down Cooper's quote above his crib.....something he started on his own! Cooper's first masterpiece!

Fun Around the House.......

This week we did our usual routine but also had lots of fun just hanging and playing around the house. I find myself more and more each week trying to slow down and enjoy the simpler things with the kids rather than hussling off to the next activity or errand. Sometimes I find it hard to answer the question "What are we doing today?" at 6am!!! Hey, whatever works for the moment right?!?! Next week we may hit all the theme parks :)

Bubble Bath Buddies!
Macy made pink flubber to share with her friends at school!
Emery of course made....yellow!
Notice Emmy is not down with getting her hands messy...she asked for a spoon!

Half way there....What a view.......and making our way down to the beach. After a morning away I was ready to play Mom again....the kids and I had the best time spending the afternoon making a fort. The kids played in it all afternoon and evening. Macy asked if we could leave it up until Daddy gets home.....I don't know that it will last 6 weeks, but it will stay up as long as it's entertaining! These are my little helpers....mid creation! The girls continued to bring stuff to help add to the fort!Whaaaaa?

Ahhhhhhhhh.......6 Weeks to Go (and counting)!!!
