Happy Birthday Emery!!!

Emmy's birthday isn't until August, but we wanted to make sure we could have a party with all her friends from preschool before everyone went on summer vacation! She had her favorite little friends from school which made it very special (this was the first year she definitely had an opinion about who she wanted to party with)!!! Our little Emmy LOVES her candy, so we decided on a Candy Land theme birthday, which turned out to be a huge hit! The parents may no longer be speaking to me after I loaded their kids up on sugar and sent them on their way...but it was fun while it lasted!!!

It's been a busy couple of months.....we blinked and before we knew it Spring was upon us! Macy started soccer (her first season ever)....the whole family has been enjoying the practices (right next to a great park for Emmy & Coop) and Saturday morning games! We've already been to the beach quite a few times, all 3 kids enjoyed 6 weeks of swimlessons....Summer here we come! We had 2 batches of visitors from the other coast (The Coopers adn their girls came out for a fun-packed week during their Spring Break from VA), and then my Mom came out to lend a hand while I had surgery on my elbow for tennis elbow....my right arm, so you can imagine I wasn't much use to anyone around here adn needed an extra set of hands! Mike's cousins from Iowa also stopped in with their 4 amazing kids and next up are friends coming in from VA this weekend for house hunting! Thank goodness for the guestroom.....book your reservations now!
